Key features
AI itinerary generation
Type one sentence (e.g. "Tokyo 4 nights family trip") → a fresh hour-by-hour itinerary in 1-3 minutes. Drop a booking PDF or confirmation photo → AI extracts the reservations the document actually contains and files them as itinerary, checklist and vouchers. It does not invent times the document does not have.
Voucher auto-attach
Photo of any confirmation → AI extracts flight numbers, times, gates, hotel addresses, and auto-links to the right day. Original PDFs cached offline.
Multi-currency expense tracker
Photo of any receipt → amount, currency, category auto-extracted and converted to your home currency in real time. Daily and category-level totals.
Companion sharing
Invite family, partner, or friends to one trip. Hand out editor or viewer roles, and everyone's changes sync automatically. Replaces group chats with one screen.
Offline reading
In the iOS and Android apps, itineraries, vouchers and checklists open in airplane mode and on weak overseas LTE. Essential when crossing borders (map tiles are the exception; the web app needs a connection).
Four-language UI and content
The app UI and Tripop's own content come in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese. Text you type into a trip stays in the language you typed it.
FAQ
What does Tripop do?▾
Tripop is an AI travel planner, and what it does depends on the input. One sentence of natural language (e.g. "Tokyo 4 nights family trip") builds a fresh hour-by-hour itinerary in about 1-3 minutes. A flight PDF or confirmation photo is parsed instead: it extracts the reservations the document contains and files them as itinerary, checklist and vouchers, without inventing times the document does not have. Receipt photos auto-fill a multi-currency expense tracker, and you can share a trip with family or friends using editor and viewer roles.
Which platforms support Tripop?▾
iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), and the web (tripop.app), all free and synced through one account.
Does it work offline?▾
In the iOS and Android apps, saved itineraries, vouchers (cached PDFs) and checklists open offline. Opening a boarding-pass QR in airplane mode and viewing your full itinerary on weak overseas LTE both work. Map tiles, AI generation and exchange-rate updates need a connection, and the web app has no offline mode.
Which languages does it support?▾
English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese, for the app UI and for Tripop's own content. Note that itinerary text you type in yourself is not machine-translated, it stays in the language you entered.
How does Tripop differ from TripIt or Wanderlog?▾
Tripop (1) makes AI itinerary generation the default flow (one sentence → full itinerary), (2) pairs a Korean/English/Japanese/Chinese UI with AI generation, vouchers and expense tracking in one app, and (3) keeps saved itineraries and vouchers readable offline in the iOS and Android apps. TripIt focuses on email-confirmation parsing (Pro on supported Apple devices turns photos and PDFs into individual plans; a one-sentence-to-itinerary flow is not listed in its official feature table, so we treat it as unverified); Wanderlog is map-first, real-time collaborative and English-centric.
Is it really free?▾
Signup and core features are free, and manual entry is always free. Only AI features draw points, and you get free points on sign-up. If you run out, you can top up with rewarded ads, in-app purchase, or on the web.
