Great Wall — Mutianyu Section
Humanity's largest structure, running along mountain ridges. Near Beijing, Badaling and Mutianyu are the main sections; Mutianyu is well preserved yet less crowded than Badaling, making it great for enjoying the scenery.
Getting there
About 1.5 hours by car from central Beijing. A cable car / chairlift takes you up to the wall.
