Plaza de Espana
The site of the Spanish-era governor's palace, listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Three structures survive: the triple-arched gate, the Azotea and the Chocolate House. Entry is free and the grounds are always open, which makes it the natural starting point for a walk through central Hagatna.
Tips
- ·Entry is free and the grounds are open at all times
- ·Latte Stone Park is within walking distance, so 30~40 minutes covers both
- ·On a Wednesday, pairing it with the Chamorro Village night market in the same district keeps the route tight
