Note that the Two Lovers Point run operates on Sundays only and requires a reservation (USD 10), and the Chamorro Village run operates on Wednesdays only (USD 15 round trip, USD 8 one-way back). For the cheapest option, the GRTA public bus is USD 1.50 per ride or USD 4.00 a day, but it runs only Monday to Saturday 05:30~20:30, does not run on Sundays and holidays, and takes cash or check only. How should I prepare data and power outlets for Guam?
Guam is a U.S. territory, so the voltage is 110~120V and the sockets are type A and B. A 220V type C plug will not fit, so bring an adapter. Do I need a visa for Guam, and what do I have to prepare?
Visitors from the 12 eligible countries can stay up to 45 days without a visa, but the paper Form I-736 was retired on November 30, 2024 and the G-CNMI ETA must now be obtained online in advance. It is free, U.S. CBP asks for it at least 7 days before departure (Korean guidance says at least 5), and without an approval you cannot board a flight to Guam or Saipan. An approval is valid for up to 2 years, but a passport expiring in six months or less will not be approved at all. If you already hold a valid ESTA, you do not need a separate G-CNMI ETA.
