Ypao Beach Park
Officially Governor Joseph Flores Memorial Park, it sits at the southern end of Tumon Bay with no entry or parking fee. It is one of the few beaches with lifeguards on duty, which makes getting in the water with children less nerve-racking.
Tips
- ·Lifeguards are on duty, which makes it the easier choice for swimming with children
- ·Parking is free but fills up fast on weekends and holidays, and the lot is locked after sunset
- ·Restrooms, outdoor showers and pavilions make a half-day stay comfortable
- ·It is one of the monitoring points in Guam EPA's weekly beach water quality report
